Dr. John Richard Oakley
Dr. John Oakley was born in 1949. He has been happily married to Lynn since 1970. He has three grown up children; Caroline, Sarah and Matthew.
After spending his childhood in Sutton Coldfield, (Bishop Vesey Grammar School), Dr Oakley trained in Sheffield and qualified in 1972. His subsequent medical career was mainly in Accident and Emergency (Casualty), Paediatrics (Child Health) and Private Medical Practice. He was appointed Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at the Children's Hospital Sheffield in 1979.
Dr. Oakley has been a wholly private Medical Practitioner since 1981. This practice has been situated at 52 Bishops Way since 1987. Previously Dr. Oakley worked from home and at the Edgbaston Nuffield Hospital, Birmingham.
